Why we started Whimbel
When we looked for a personalized children's book that told our family's real story — the actual memory, the real moment, the true emotion — we couldn't find one.
Every “personalized” book was really just a template. Change a name, pick an avatar, and get the same story thousands of other families received. That's not personal. That's a mail merge.
We wanted something different: a book about our moment. The day at the beach. The first steps. The way grandma always sings that one song. Real memories, turned into real stories, illustrated to look like our family.
So we built it ourselves.
